Don Johnston started his company with a goal to help students read and write better with technology. His site offers many resources like his famous start to finish library, text readers like Snap&Read and Read:Outloud. It is a great resource for enhancing your reading and writing lessons.
Read Write Think is a literacy website with a plethora of information to help teachers and parents supplement their reading materials. It has a wonderful after school resource for parents divided by grade level. There are lesson plans, classroom resources and professional development links.
